Creating CRM solution awareness for the Financial Service Industry

Challenge:

Ideaca specializes in CRM solutions for the financial services industry with a strong customer base in Calgary. As the largest concentration of head offices for financial services are in Toronto, they wanted to increase their brand awareness in Ontario. They had very few relationships in Ontario and were not certain who to target.

Solution:

Strategy:

We worked with the sales and product teams to understand their solutions offering, recommending target firms and titles within the midsize market and building a database of target companies, titles and individuals in the distribution space. We commissioned Dan Richards as industry expert speaker to help strengthen the ideaca brand. We developed the messaging and presentations to address the trend towards house holding with the provocative question - "How do Nesting Dolls Relate to your Business?". Personalized invitations and phone calls were made to increase the high touch factor of the event.

Tactical:

We chose Pravda Vodka Bar for its trendy ambience and central location. We held the entire restaurant and hosted the event to include a uniqueness as reflective to the Ideaca brand. Vodka parings and an ice bar mixed with pertinent information created a comfortable evening. The messaging played on the Russian venue, nesting dolls and householding. All collateral elements from name tags to HTML reminders were branding consistently - reflecting the Ideaca brand. A very tight logistic plan ensured that the evening was well run with time for presentations and for the sales team to maximize relationship building opportunities.

Results:

The event increased awareness throughout the mid-size financial services organizations. Meetings were set by the sales team as doors were opened. A team of sales representatives have now been hired to focus solely on Ontario.
